This website reflects my interest in the cultural, environmental and economic dimensions of food – the way it’s produced and how it’s consumed. I want to eat and share safe, fresh and sustainable produce.
My Italian heritage may explain part of my passion, but it doesn’t stop there. Born in Sicily, raised in Trieste, migrated to Adelaide, Australia, I am omnivorous and take pleasure in discovering as much as I can about different cuisines and sharing what I’ve learned through my books, my cooking classes and my blog.
I now live in Melbourne, Australia.
